Als de dag van Toen

In the local flower shop, Koos's daughters (Henk Poort) support their father after the death of their mother. This actually means they do the work while Koos provides the entertainment. When the famous singer Toon comes into the shop, he instantly falls in love with one of the daughters. Unfortunately, his mother Kobie (Anne-Mieke Ruyten) does not think she is good enough for her son. This leads to hilarious and touching situations, as well as a glimpse into the history of Koos and Kobie. And the big question is: will it be 'Like the Day of Yesterday' again?

The performance, directed by Caroline Frerichs, is musically accompanied by songs from the old days such as: Would you like a cutting?, The Crocus and the Hyacinth, or Hey, don't kiss on the zebra crossing. These delightful tunes are performed by the wonderful Trio van Toen, including Michael van Praag.

A feel-good performance full of love and humor that truly brings people together and is dementia-friendly.
