In the show ‘Bloedheet & tranen’, the Flemish presenter and theater maker Evi Hanssen humorously explores how menopause, that wonderful phase in a woman's life, affects her body and mind. She shares her struggles with herself and her surroundings, her transition from a fiery sex bomb to a self-assured graying lady, and the hormonal chaos that turns her life and that of her environment upside down.

Just like in her previous show ‘Sinds ik niet meer drink’, Evi engages with her audience in a playful and personal way. She shares her experiences about the changes in the female body and explains in a light-hearted yet scientifically grounded manner how her hormones sometimes go their own way. With humor, she breaks taboos and celebrates menopause together with you. This evening is all about celebrating the strength of women.
