With its own sound, ranging from uncomplicated rock to blues, funk, soul, fusion, and singer/songwriter, the southern jam band has been a sensation in Europe for years.

Anyone who has seen a show by the Leif de Leeuw Band in recent years knows that it is not a standard blues band. They create their own sound, ranging from uncomplicated rock to blues, funk, soul, fusion, and singer/songwriter. It is a mix of music from the past decades, which makes this southern jam band a sensation in Europe for years.

The sound is characterized by breathtaking guitar solos, grooving drums, and twin-lead guitars. Each show is unique due to the many improvised jams. With their music, the band continues the tradition of bands like Little Feat, the Allman Brothers Band, and Derek and the Dominos.

During this performance, Leif and his band pay tribute to The Allman Brothers Band, the rock and blues band from the American state of Georgia. The group was founded in 1969 by brothers Duane and Gregg Allman. Thanks to a mix of blues, country, rock, and even jazz and classical music, the group grows into an influential band.
