ROF DAAIMUND is the new all-encompassing alter ego of Isabelle Kafando. Directed by Peter van de Witte (Rundfunk, n00b), ROF gives you a little show! Touching misfits and silly pretenders follow each other in a freak show that makes you question, through your fits of laughter, whether you are simply witnessing a nervous breakdown on stage.

Like a kind of Freek Vonk of the inner world, she grabs you by the throat and drags you through a jungle of characters who understand even less about life than you do. All the characters are struggling with the question of who they actually are, resulting in a display of social failures that will make you cry from recognition. Rough stones that ROF sharpens into unique diamonds. The comedy is sharp, fast, and constantly changing form. ROF is disarming but always hits the mark.

Just as you hide your identity crisis behind pretty words and Instagram filters, ROF DAAIMUND polishes her characters until they almost seem human. Almost. Because let's be honest: no one really knows who the f*ck they are.
