After a year of success and keen observations, Tim Hartog is back with his hit show 'Friction'. Get ready for a comedy night full of humor, contradictions, and the inevitable friction that is necessary for change.

After years of hard work, comedian Tim Hartog is now an indispensable part of the comedy world. From his growing online fanbase to his headline-making performances, he has proven over the past year that he not only has a sharp mind but also an incredible drive to make the Netherlands laugh. Now it's time for the next step: conquering the rest of the Netherlands with the sequel to his successful tour 'Friction'. With his disarming charm and a high dose of jokes, he knows how to captivate any audience.

At first glance, Tim is a sympathetic man with sound morals and values. But this professional overthinker is a walking bundle of contradictions. And it is precisely these contradictions that make Tim an observant comedian who plays with assumptions and prejudices. Everyone wants to lead a fun and comfortable life. However, this cannot be achieved by consuming as much as possible. As humans, we have to deal with feelings that cannot be numbed. Therefore, we must confront ourselves and the world around us. Fortunately, because without friction, there is no shine.

About Tim
Tim Hartog graduated in 2010 from the Royal Theatre Academy and reached the finals of the Leids Cabaret Festival. Over the past few years, he has managed to build a significant audience through his social media channels, his performances at Comedy Club Haug, hosting the very first Rijnmond New Year's Conference (2023), and securing a finalist spot in 'The Smartest Person' (2024). Additionally, he is a popular guest in the Dutch comedy circuit and a sought-after presenter. He has appeared on television in 'The Comedy Factory' and 'The Great Improvisation Show'. He has performed at major festivals such as Paaspop and Lowlands.
