Is artificial intelligence the solution to all our boring tasks, or is it the downfall of humanity? Diederik Jekel takes you on a unique performance about life, humanity, and the computer, with humor and profound insights.

Emails that are written and answered by a program, then forwarded to your colleague's program which then answers those emails; there is no human involvement anymore. Never again will you create a PowerPoint or summarize a document for your boss or know when a video is real or not. Soon journalists, artists, and judges will also simply be replaced by artificial intelligence (AI). No more thinking and struggling at work, because the computer can do your job better than you can. How on earth did we end up here and what will this mean for humanity? What is life? What is creativity? Does evolution still exist and is this the consequence?

Diederik Jekel will take you on a very special journey in this unique theatrical lecture. The biggest story imaginable. That of life itself. How did life come about, how did humans come about, and how did the computer ultimately come about? It promises to be a wonderful evening filled with humor, and by the end of the performance, you will never look at any bacterium, human, or computer the same way again and will feel good about how artificial intelligence works under the hood. Intended for everyone, from young to old, and also (especially) for people who can barely find the on-button of their phone.

It will forever change your perspective on that which influences your life more than anything else: the computer. And that in just an hour and a half! Perhaps the last performance you will ever see that was still written by a human.
